EFA Program
Hi, I'm JohnMichael, owner of Essential School Supplies in Sidney, Arkansas. We're an approved Direct Pay vendor for the Arkansas Education Freedom Account (EFA) program, so you can use your student's EFA funds to buy school supplies from our store.
How it works
- Add your items to the cart, click View cart, and type the EFA student's full name in the box on the cart page. It prints on your invoice.
- Check out and choose ClassWallet Invoice as your payment method, then download your PDF invoice.
- In ClassWallet, choose Pay Vendor, pick "Essential School Supplies," upload the invoice, choose the expense category, and submit.
Good to know
- Timing: the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) reviews each request, which usually takes about 25 business days and can take longer right after quarterly deposits. Payment then reaches us through ClassWallet, usually several weeks later. We ship within 1 business day of receiving payment, so please allow about 4–8 weeks from submission.
- Shipping is calculated at checkout by weight. It starts at $8.99, and larger items cost more. It shows as its own line on your invoice. Any applicable tax also appears on the invoice.
- One order per student. We accept Direct Pay only, and orders ship only (no local pickup).
- Refunds go back to the student's EFA account only.
- Check what's allowed on the official DESE allowed/not-allowed expense list.
